Hand Coiled Clay Large Polychrome Olla with Hand Painted Geometric Designs. There is an indigo blue wash on the interior and on the upper portions of this jar which may indicate it was used as a dye jar for dying wool with indigo.

In Overall Excellent Condition but Showing Cultural Use 

Antique Zuni Pueblo pottery, particularly large ollas (traditional water jars), represents a rich tradition from the Zuni people, one of the largest Native American pueblos in western New Mexico.
