Casas Grandes pottery bowls originate from the Paquimé (Casas Grandes) archaeological site in northern Chihuahua, Mexico, rather than New Mexico. While the culture was historically part of the broader Mogollon sphere that extended into present-day New Mexico and Arizona, the primary production center was south of the modern border.
