Mary O. Chalan (also signed M.O. Chalan or Mary Chalan; born August 1939) is a Cochiti Pueblo potter best known for her storyteller figurines and other figurative pottery. She was born at Cochiti Pueblo to Raymond and Barbarita Herrera. She learned pottery-making by watching and working with her mother-in-law, Helen Cordero (1915–1994), the artist widely credited with inventing the modern Pueblo storyteller form in 1964.
