Papago (Tohono O’odham) bowl baskets are traditional coiled basketry from the Tohono O’odham people of the Sonoran Desert in southern Arizona and northern Mexico (formerly called Papago). Early examples, often from the late 19th to early 20th century, are prized by collectors for their craftsmanship and cultural significance.
