An Eskimo ulu with a copper blade and ivory handle is a rare, historically significant artifact. It traces directly back to the Copper Inuit (historically referred to as "Copper Eskimos") who lived in the Arctic regions of northern Canada, particularly around Victoria Island and the Coppermine River.
