A collotype is a 19th–mid‑20th‑century printing process that uses a light‑sensitive gelatin plate to reproduce images with extremely fine detail. It produces prints that look almost like hand drawings because the ink is deposited in continuous tone, not dots.

Pueblo scenes depict the historic adobe villages, churches, daily life, dances, and landscapes of the Pueblo peoples in the American Southwest (primarily New Mexico and Arizona). These works capture multi-story adobe structures, kivas, plazas, mesas, and cultural activities like corn harvesting, pottery making, and ceremonial dances.
