David Mann (b. 1948) is a well-known American artist specializing in realistic paintings of 19th-century Native American (primarily Plains Indian) life, figures, horses, and cultural scenes.  His works often depict dignified, everyday or dramatic moments with strong historical research into clothing, settings, and details. He is based in Utah and has been featured in major Western art shows. Original oils, limited-edition prints (often signed and numbered), and giclées are common in the market.
