The Hohokam 3/4 groove axe head (also called three-quarter grooved axe) is a distinctive stone tool produced by the Hohokam culture, an ancient Native American civilization that thrived in the desert regions of central and southern Arizona (primarily around modern-day Phoenix) from roughly AD 450 to 1450.

These axes are hallmark artifacts of Hohokam sites (e.g., Pueblo Grande, Honey Bee Village) and reflect advanced stoneworking skills in a canal-irrigating, agricultural society. They evolved from earlier ridged forms and are distinct from full-grooved styles more common in Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) or Eastern Woodland cultures. Similar 3/4-grooved axes appear in other regions, but the Hohokam versions are iconic to the Southwest.
