Hohokam cooking pot is the utilitarian vessels made by the Hohokam people, who inhabited the Sonoran Desert in what is now central and southern Arizona from roughly AD 1 to 1450. These pots were essential for daily life in an arid environment, used primarily for cooking over open fires, boiling water, preparing food (like maize, beans, and wild plants), and sometimes storage or carrying.
