Ronald Yava, also known as Ronnie Yava, is a Hopi artisan and reportedly a Hopi Medicine Man who specializes in carving Kachina dolls. His work blends traditional techniques with personal spiritual insight, often signing pieces with dates and notations like "Kae Artist."

Ka'e (or Kae), a revered Corn Dancer spirit, specifically in its yellow corn variant. This type of doll embodies prayers for the growth and fruition of corn, a sacred staple in Hopi culture.
