Hopi Pueblo baskets with handles are beautiful examples of traditional Native American basketry from the Hopi people of northeastern Arizona. The Hopi produce two main types of baskets: coiled (primarily from Second Mesa villages) and wicker (primarily from Third Mesa). Handles appear more commonly in certain coiled or utilitarian forms, often for carrying or gathering.
