The Broad Face Kachina (Hopi name often Wuyak.kuita or similar variations like Wuyak-kuita) is a traditional figure in Hopi Pueblo culture from northeastern Arizona. 

The Broad Face is a doll's notably wide or large facial mask. It often serves as a guard or disciplinarian (sometimes called a guard or whipper kachina). These figures help maintain order during public dances, guide participants, correct behavior, or keep crowds back—frequently carrying yucca whips or sticks.
