The Eagle Katsina (Kwahu) symbolizes strength, power, bravery, and prayer-carrying to the Creator. Eagles are revered as the strongest birds and messengers between earth and sky. Their dance mimics eagle flight and serves as a prayer for moisture, good crops, and more eagles. Bird Kachinas in general tie deeply into Hopi ceremonialism, with feathers (especially eagle) playing key roles in rituals for breath, protection, and connection to the spiritual realm.
