The "Hopi Pueblo Hanging Grandmother" (properly known in Hopi as Hahai-i Wu-uti) is widely recognized as the Mother or Grandmother of all Katsinam (Kachinas). Her name translates conceptually to "Pour Water Woman," and she represents nurturing, maternal protection, fertility, and profound gratitude for the nourishment of life.
