Victor Coochwytewa (1922–2011) was a highly influential Hopi silversmith from the Waterhouse Clan of Shungopavi on Second Mesa, widely regarded as a master of overlay jewelry. He began his career in 1940 under Paul Saufkie but gained prominence after serving in World War II, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for combat in the South Pacific and Burma.
