A miniature Hopi Katsina (Kachina) doll depicting the Mudhead (Koyemsi or Koyemsi) clown figure in a playful "piggyback" pose, where the main Mudhead carries two small baby Mudheads on its back. These whimsical, humorous designs are classic in Hopi carving, emphasizing the Koyemsi's role as clowns who entertain, teach through antics, and appear in nearly every Hopi ceremony.
