Ramon Albert Sr. was a Hopi carver from the Third Mesa village of Hotevilla, Arizona. He is recognized for his traditional-style kachina dolls, including examples featured in books like Erik Bromberg's The Hopi Approach to the Art of Kachina Doll Carving (where his Cat Kachina is cited as an authentic representation). Pieces signed by him often include his name, location (Hotevilla, AZ), and occasionally a hand-drawn rabbit hallmark.
