Hopi Pueblo polychrome pottery jars are world-renowned Native American ceramics celebrated for their hand-coiled construction, warm clay slips, and intricate geometric or stylized animal motifs. This artistic tradition experienced a monumental revival in the late 19th and early 20th centuries led by the famous Hopi-Tewa matriarch Nampeyo of Hano, who drew inspiration from ancient Sikyatki pottery fragments.
