Frog Woman is a title held by two prominent Hopi-Tewa potters, Paqua Naha (First Frog Woman) and her daughter Joy Navasie (Second Frog Woman), both famous for their mastery of traditional Hopi ceramics and the innovation of polychrome whiteware.

Joy Navasie (1919-2012) - The Second Frog Woman and daughter of Paqua, she spent most of her 60-year career perfecting the white slipped pottery her mother pioneered. Her work is characterized by its smooth, stone-polished kaolin surface and intricate bird and feather motifs.
