Elton Nampeyo (b. 1953) is a Hopi-Tewa potter from the Corn Clan on First Mesa, Arizona, and a member of the renowned Nampeyo family of potters.culturalpatina.com +1 He is the son of Elva Nampeyo (1926–1985) and Richard Tewaguna, grandson of Fannie Nampeyo, and great-grandson of the legendary Nampeyo of Hano (c. 1860–1942), who revived ancient Sikyatki-style Hopi pottery in the late 19th/early 20th century. His siblings, including Adelle, Miriam, and Neva, are also potters. Elton has been active since around the 1970s and signs his work "Elton Nampeyo" (often with a corn clan symbol).
