Hopi Pueblo ring baskets (also called plaited ring baskets, yucca ring baskets, or sifter baskets) are a traditional, utilitarian form of Hopi (and broader Pueblo) basketry. They represent one of the oldest and simplest basket styles in the Southwest, with roots tracing back to the Basketmaker III period (around A.D. 500) and continuing with little change for centuries.
