Sankey Jackson, a respected Hopi carver from First Mesa (Hopi Pueblo, Arizona), created examples of this katsina. His works are authentic, detailed, and collectible, often signed or identifiable by style. One recorded piece is a 10-inch hand-carved and painted Crazy Rattle Kachina by S. Jackson, showcasing the classic vibrant colors and symbolic features.

Tuskiapaya or Tuskiapaya Katsina, translating to "Crazy Rattle" Katsina) is a traditional wooden figure hand-carved by Hopi artisans from cottonwood root. It represents the Tuskiapaya Katsina, a variant of the ancient Sikyachantaka (or Sikyachantaka) Katsina in Hopi spirituality and ceremonies.
