Samuel Neil Kayquoptewa (born 1964) is a respected Hopi Pueblo artist from the Rabbit/Tobacco Clan in Hotevilla village on Third Mesa, Arizona. He is known for his skilled, award-winning traditional katsina (kachina) doll carvings, often made from cottonwood root with detailed painting, feathers, and other natural materials. His work appears in galleries like Adobe Gallery and has been collected by institutions such as the National Museum of the American Indian (e.g., his 1991 Warrior Twin katsina).
