Hupa Oval Trivet Basket (also called an oval tray or trinket basket) is a traditional woven form from the Hupa (Hoopa) people, an Athabaskan-speaking Native American tribe from the lower Trinity River area in northwestern California. These baskets are closely related to those made by neighboring Yurok and Karuk tribes, sharing similar techniques and designs.
