The Inuit ulu is a traditional, multi-purpose cutting tool with a rich history stretching back over 4,000 years. Meaning "woman's knife" in Inuktitut, it features a distinct half-moon or crescent-shaped blade fixed directly to a centered handle. This design positions the user's cutting force directly over the center of the blade, providing immense leverage and control for heavy-duty and fine tasks alike.
