Hooper Bay (Naparyarmiut) lidded baskets are traditional coiled grass baskets made by Yup’ik (Central Alaskan Yup’ik) people of western Alaska. They are often broadly labeled “Inuit” or “Eskimo” in the antiques and collecting trade, though the makers are specifically Yup’ik.
