Andy Abeita (also spelled Abeita) is a noted fetish carver from Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico. He often collaborates with his wife Roberta Abeita (Navajo). They are well-regarded for detailed stone carvings, especially corn maidens (using alabaster, turquoise, picasso marble, and coral), but they also create animal fetishes like wolves, bears, mountain lions, and eagles.
