Felicia Fragua is a celebrated Jemez Pueblo potter known for her masterful storytelling figures and nativity sets. She hand-coils her pieces using traditional methods, incorporating natural pigments and clays sourced from the Jemez area. Felicia's work often emphasizes cultural narratives, such as multi-figure storytellers (grandparents sharing oral histories with children, a vital Pueblo tradition) and religious scenes like nativity sets with up to seven pieces. Her pieces are signed "F. Fragua Jemez" and have been featured in galleries and auctions, including museum-quality items valued from $400 to $1,400 or more. Felicia has taught pottery to her family, including her son Loren Wallowing Bull, ensuring the continuation of Jemez traditions. She is part of the broader Fragua family legacy, which includes relatives like Juanita Fragua (a pioneering elder potter from the Corn Clan who passed in 2023), Linda Fragua, Chrislyn Fragua, Glendora Fragua, Bonnie Fragua, and Robert Fragua.
