Gabriel G. Gonzales is a contemporary potter from Jemez Pueblo (Walatowa), New Mexico, known for innovative blackware melon-style pottery. He was born into the Oak Valley Clan of Jemez Pueblo. He is the son of Persingula Gonzales and the grandson of Anacita Chinana. He learned traditional pottery-making from his mother, Persingula, and his maternal uncle, Donald Chinana—both recognized Jemez potters.
