Cas Toya (Casimiro Toya), a potter from the Jemez Pueblo in central-northern New Mexico.

Casimiro "Cas" Toya was a traditional Jemez Pueblo potter active in the mid-20th century. He is best known as the father of acclaimed potter Mary E. Toya (who passed away in the early 2000s) and the grandfather of award-winning artists like Melesia Toya. The Toya family is one of the most influential lineages in Jemez pottery, with multiple generations— including Cas's descendants Judy Toya, Anita Toya, Vernita Toya, and Melesia Toya—specializing in storyteller dolls and figurative pottery.
