Felicia Fragua was born in October 1964 to Grace L. Fragua and Felix Fragua at Jemez Pueblo. She learned traditional pottery-making around age 13, primarily from her mother and sister Rose, though many relatives in her large family are potters. She is part of the prominent Fragua family, known for producing high-quality figurative pottery, especially Storytellers.
