Klickitat baskets with hoop handles (often referred to as top loops) are traditional, highly durable coiled cedar baskets handcrafted by the Klickitat (Klikitat) people of the Columbia River Plateau region in Washington State. Historically celebrated as "huckleberry baskets," these iconic round containers feature an outward-sloping rim finished with integrated loops or "hoop handles" designed for heavy field utility.
