Laguna Pueblo pottery by Michael Kanteena is work of Michael Kanteena, a renowned contemporary potter from Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico (often referred to as Laguna, New Mexico).

Michael Kanteena (born September 1, 1959) is an award-winning Native American artist who earned a BA in Fine Arts from Eastern New Mexico University in 1981. After returning to Laguna Pueblo, he focused on traditional pottery-making, specializing in hand-coiled pieces inspired by ancient Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi) traditions. His work often recreates or draws from historic styles of Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, Mimbres, Hohokam, and even ancient Mexican influences, blending them with contemporary elements.
