Calvin Analla Jr. is a highly regarded, traditional Native American ceramic artist from the Laguna Pueblo in New Mexico. Born in 1960 in the village of Paguate, he is widely celebrated for his distinct "marbled" or "marbleized" clay bodies, exceptionally thin-walled vessels, and meticulous geometric fine-line paintings. Because he is not a highly prolific potter, his finished bowls and jars are considered relatively rare.
