Large Paiute work baskets are traditional utilitarian baskets made by Paiute (and closely related Mono Lake Paiute/Miwok-Paiute) peoples of the Great Basin and California regions. These were essential everyday items for gathering, carrying, storing, and processing food like seeds, nuts (e.g., piñon), berries, and other resources in arid environments.
