Vintage Southwestern or Mexican Taxco-style jewelry. These often feature whimsical desert scenes with a man (frequently a peasant, cowboy, or figure in a hat/sombrero) alongside iconic elements like cacti (saguaro or prickly pear), trees, or other arid landscape motifs. Many such pins are sterling silver (.925), handmade or crafted in Mexico, and popular in mid-20th-century folk/artisan jewelry. Common themes include a relaxed or siesta-style man near cacti, sometimes with a donkey or simple tree-like details for a full desert vignette.
