Ramone (or Ramon) Platero (1930–2003) was a respected Navajo (Diné) silversmith known for high-quality handmade turquoise jewelry, including bracelets. He came from a prominent jewelry-making family—son of the renowned Pablo Platero—and is noted for introducing or popularizing leaf motifs in Navajo silverwork. He began silversmithing around the 1950s–early 1970s and created pieces with intricate stamping, overlay, sandcast, and inlay techniques.
