Navajo (Diné) concha belts (also spelled concho belts) are iconic pieces of Southwestern Native American jewelry and wearable art, originating in the late 1860s–1870s. They feature large, convex silver discs called conchas (from the Spanish word for "shell") strung or mounted on a leather belt, often with intricate stamping, repoussé (raised designs), scalloped edges, and sometimes turquoise.
