A Navajo Heishi and Nugget Green Turquoise Necklace is a classic style of Native American jewelry made by Navajo (Diné) artisans, combining two traditional elements. Heishi beads are Very thin, hand-rolled disc beads traditionally made from shell, turquoise, or other natural materials. Nugget green turquoise are Larger, irregularly shaped raw or lightly polished pieces of natural green turquoise (often from mines like Royston, Kingman, Carico Lake, or Lone Mountain).
