Moon Dancer is a specific named figure in some Navajo-made dolls, These are hand-carved, painted wooden figures depicting a dancer, sometimes with moon-themed motifs or celestial elements. A Moon Katsina (Muyaow or Hololo), associated with the moon, eclipses, and specific songs. Zuni examples include a "Moon God" Katsina (sometimes labeled as such, with blue body paint, feathers, and regalia resembling other winter dancers).
