Elizabeth Abeyta was a Dine artist from the Navajo Nation, renowned for her award-winning clay sculptures that celebrated her heritage. Trained at prestigious institutions and under her artist father, Narciso Abeyta, her work, characterized by flowing figures and cultural mythology, captivated both private and museum collectors. Figures similar to these are part of the collection at the National Museum of the American Indian and featured in the book "Beyond Tradition: Contemporary Indian Art and Its Evolution" by Lois & Jerry Jacka.
