A Navajo sterling silver and turquoise belt buckle is a classic piece of Native American Southwestern jewelry, handcrafted by artisans from the Navajo (Diné) Nation. Made from natural stones from American mines (Sleeping Beauty, Kingman, Morenci, Bisbee, Number Eight, Lone Mountain, etc.). The most prized stones are sky-blue with little to no matrix, though spiderweb matrix (black or brown veining) is also highly valued.
