Navajo Yei-Bi-Chai (Yeibichai) Kachina-style dolls are traditional or inspired carvings representing figures from Navajo (Diné) ceremonial traditions, particularly the Yeibichai (or Yei Bi Chei) dance, which is part of the Nightway ceremony.
A rarely seen Navajo Yei Bei Chi doll; also known as the "blue faced dancer", the Yei Bei Chi is the primary diety of the Navajo. Unlike many Navajo "Hopi-Style Kachina dolls" which are not traditional, this Yei Bei Chai is the Traditional Figure of the Navajo, yet was rarely carved.
