Nootka Oval Treasure Baskets (also called trinket or gift baskets) are small, finely woven lidded baskets traditionally made by Nootka (Nuu-chah-nulth) and closely related Makah (Nootka/Makah) peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast (primarily Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and the Olympic Peninsula in Washington).
