Nootka (Nuu-chah-nulth) round lidded baskets are traditional woven items from the Nuu-chah-nulth (formerly called Nootka) peoples of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and closely related Makah people in Washington state. These are iconic examples of Northwest Coast Indigenous basketry.
