The Northern California Mano and Volcanic Donut Hole are features in Northern/Eastern California's volcanic landscape around Mono Lake (often misspelled or autocorrected as "Mano").
"Mano" points to the Mono–Inyo Craters volcanic chain (pronounced roughly like "MOH-no"), a dramatic series of young volcanic features in Mono County, eastern California near the Sierra Nevada. This area includes recent eruptions (as young as ~300–600 years ago) and is part of one of North America's most active volcanic regions outside Alaska and Hawaii.
