Northern Plains full beaded moccasins are traditional Native American footwear associated primarily with tribes of the Northern Great Plains, such as the Lakota (Sioux), Dakota, Assiniboine, Crow, Blackfoot (Blackfeet), and related groups. They feature extensive geometric beadwork covering the uppers (and sometimes the soles), typically on hard-soled constructions suited to prairie terrain.
