The Baby Eagle is a smaller or juvenile eagle depiction, as opposed to full-sized ceremonial masks. Many are carved from cedar (red or yellow cedar, prized for its workability and cultural importance in the region), painted in traditional bold colors (black, red, white, blue), and feature the eagle's distinctive hooked beak, large eyes, and formline designs.
