The Santa Fe Trail blanket combines classic Pueblo elements from an early Pendleton designs, and honors the tradition of trade routes in the American west. Celebrate the 175th Anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail with the inaugural blanket of the series. Santa Fe Trail honors the tradition of trade routes in the United States. The designer, Native American artist Ramona Sakiestewa, chose a classic element from an early Pendleton blanket and expanded it with her aesthetic vocabulary, into an eloquent concert of rust gold turquoise cream brown and tan hues.
