Commemorating the heritage of the American Southwest. In the tradition of Indian Trade Blankets, the Southwest Trails Blankets highlight the colors of the Southwest and celebrate the diversity of cultures, myths and traditions that is our common ancestry. Designed by Native American artist, Ramona Sakiestewa, this series of six Pendleton blankets commemorates the heritage of American Southwest trails. The elements in each blanket reflect the culture and tradition of the Southwest particular to the individual trails.

Honoring the Hispanic heritage of the Camino Real. This blanket design is based on a Saltillo serape with concentric diamonds and 7 Vallero stars. Chihuahua Trail celebrates the part of El Camino Real (The Royal Road,) that linked Santa Fe and Chihuahua, conveying a diversity of goods whose influence is evidenced today in crafts once created to serve practical needs and now regarded as art. In vibrant tones of red purple green and blue. Designed by Native American artist Ramona Sakiestewa. Made exclusively for Dewey Trading Company by Pendleton Woolen Mills. 82% pure virgin wool/ 18% cotton. Made in the USA. Dry clean only.
